How to Apply and use Eye Color.
Please follow the steps below:
1. Choose a color scheme that compliments your eye color. Some cosmetologists use color theory to determine contracting colors that help accentuate the eyes. Brown color allows blue eyes to emerge. Green color looks good with brown eyes. Purple hues are striking with green eyes. You are ultimately the best judge of which colors look good on you. Experiment and choose colors that fit your fashion style.
2. Cover the eyes entirely with a light base, to prevent your eye shadow from crusting in the crease of your eyes.
3. Use a brush and cover the upper eyelids with a highlight or neutral color.
4. Choose a deep color eye shadow such as bronze or green and spread it over your eye lids from the center extending towards the outer crease of your eyes. Blend this color with your highlight color in an upward angle.
5. Use a dark or charcoal eyeliner and lightly run it along the outer crease of your upper eyelids in an upward angle for a cat-like effect.
6. Apply a lighter brown color on your bottom eyelids.
7. Finish coloring your eyes by applying mascara to lengthen and thicken your lashes.
Tip:
Use eye makeup remover to clean the makeup off your face before going to bed at night. This will help to prevent skin problems.

The techniques of shading and highlighting are used to enhance the natural shape of the eye. Of course, the colors that work the best using these techniques are neutral shades (matte), especially light colored high lighter such as white or cream, and shading color.
You must always remember that: light colors advance (make an area seem larger or closer) while dark colors recede (make an area seem smaller or further away). To apply eye make up tips to create the desired illusion, it is essential to apply eye make up in a way that works with light and dark together and keeps your eyelid shape in mind.
