What does being a Microsoft certified partner mean?
I saw this on a company.
Microsoft Partner Since 2003
Microsoft Gold Certified Partner
What does it mean exactly? Does Microsoft review their status yearly?
It means that many people are highly certified in Microsoft technologies. For example, I have my Engineer certs with microsoft (MCSE). Have people who do this and work with a company, the company gets perks like free reading material, discount on future exams, and if you get to a Managed Partner (1 step above Gold) Microsoft will actually help in giving you business. It’s great to get, but can get expensive. So you’d be best if you have the tech ppl who can handle the work load and make up for the $10,000+ a year fee to be a highly advised partner.
