What should a woman’s wedding band look like?
So I got a nice engagement ring that has three diamonds on it in a row. My fiance and I will be looking at wedding bands this weekend but I’m not sure what would look right. I want to continue to wear my engagement ring with my wedding band. Should I get a plain white gold band or will it be ok to get a band with diamonds going around the ring or just in front, or will that be too much? My engagement didn’t come in a set so I’m not sure what kind would look good with it.
I was a jeweler for a few years. This is a question I was asked at least 3 times a week. the best answer is try on any band that you see and like. You will eventually find one that you love. Don’t buy it, if you don’t love it, or before you shop around some. There is no way it should look. It is okay to have a plain band, or one with diamonds or even a solid band with a textured finish, or matte, or pave, or smooth. Its your wedding band, so it should be what you love. Congrats on getting married!
