Are 800 thd count cotton (trad. gift, 2nd wed. anniversary) sheets as a gift going to land me on sofa?

I bought nice bed sheets for our 2nd anniversary present…but I’m worried that–while cotton is the traditional gift–that my wife will be disappointed with the lack of diamonds. I didn’t follow tradition on our 1st anniversary & bought a diamond tennis bracelet. Did I set a high hopes (for life)? Any good suggestions?

How about the sheets, with a little more personalization? Like, make little coupons for things she can request that you do ON the sheets? Slide a little piece of lingerie in with the sheets….make it so it’s not JUST sheets, but what goes on in the sheets…hehe…and if she doesn’t want them, send ‘em my way! I’d love 800 thread count sheets!
