Cuff Links as Accessory

Cuff links are a small accessory as decorative fasteners that can make shirts look very appealing and stylish. While many people use cuff links for everyday occasions, it is more common to see men wear the jewelry at weddings, formal parties or functions. Cuff links say a lot about your style; so choose the most appropriate set of cuff links for your formal event. They are usually encountered when renting a tux and sometimes when given to you by a relative or an older person who wears suits.

Before shirts had buttons, they were held together with string or ribbon. Even after the shirt fronts became adorned with buttons, the sleeves were often held closed at the wrist with small knots or chains attached to buttons. These chain and button contraptions slowly gained in popularity to bring about the birth of the modern tiffany cufflinks.
