How do I make my leather boots narrower? guaranteed 10 POINTS!?
They are a wonderful fit generally but a bit baggy round the top bit as I am quite short with skinny calves!

Any other tricks would be good – e.g. i’ve tried putting legwarmers on and then folding them over the top of the boot, this works well!
I don’t want to wear them over trousers and i hate leggings..

What i want to know is, can i somehow sew them myself by maybe cutting out the elastic and sewing it together? I have asked all the cobblers round here but none of them provide this service.,..xxx
A few shoe repair services will do this for you, I say a few because not all do it I had to ask around before I found one who could, if they are genuine leather that is better as they won’t split like PU does.
Also if you decide to do it yourself don’t forget to use a leather or denim graded needle, a regular will break in the sewing machine.
